Lauren Keating

General Manager of Engineering

After earning a B.S. in civil engineering from Penn State in 2007, Lauren joined United States Steel Corporation as a Project Engineer, where she spent five years helping to rehabilitate their global coke-making facilities. In 2012, she earned her MBA from the University of Pittsburgh. Two years later she was named Director of Engineering Projects with responsibility for managing large capital projects.

Lauren joined Songer Services in 2016 and within a year advanced to General Manager of Engineering. She has certifications as a Project Manager Professional and Six Sigma Green Belt. She is also an active member of the Association of Iron and Steel Technology (AIST), having served on the board of directors from 2014-16.
