Songer Service’s Robert Hoover receives the (ICEBAC) Dedication Award. 

On Wednesday, November 1, Robert Hoover was presented with the International Council of Employers of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers’ (ICEBAC) 2023 Eugene George Dedication Award at the Hilton Baltimore BWI Airport Hotel. His career building and maintaining trustworthy relationships with stakeholders, labor officials, management/contractors, and clients has allowed him to provide experience and knowledge to organizations seeking a strong labor relations presence within the construction industry.

Robert's dedication and influence have earned him positions including Management Co-Chair and Vice President of the National Maintenance Agreements Policy Committee, Inc. (NMAPC), President of The Association of Union Constructors (TAUC), and Co-Chairman of NACA, H2H, and the National Refractory Committee (NRA), not to mention a Board Member and Trustee of several pension/ labor management trusts.

Robert worked closely with Paul Songer for decades, both becoming instrumental figureheads for unions affiliated with steel and masonry. Songer Services, as well as ICEBAC, recognize Bob’s dedication to improving the lives of others and would like to congratulate him on his outstanding efforts.

The International Council of Employers of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers (ICEBAC) is the only wholly union international masonry contractor’s association representing contractors who perform brick, block, stone, tile, marble, terrazzo, cement masonry, plastering, and restoration work. It works with its affiliates and other signatory contractors' associations to provide signatory masonry contractors with labor relations, education, staffing services, and political advocacy specifically needed by the signatory contractor.
