Michael Fischer

Michael joined Songer Services as Chief Procurement Officer in May 2025, bringing over two decades of procurement and supply chain leadership in the energy and industrial sectors. His experience includes managing complex capital project supply chains valued at over $2 billion annually and leading strategic initiatives to reduce operational spend and improve procurement efficiency.

Prior to joining Songer, Michael held leadership roles at Nacelle Solutions, Marathon Petroleum, Thyssenkrupp, and U.S. Steel, where he developed and executed procurement plans for large-scale construction and renewable energy projects. He is widely respected for his ability to align purchasing strategies with organizational goals, improve vendor performance, and deploy systems that drive measurable results.
