Director – Health, Safety, and Environment

Nathan joined Songer Services as a safety coordinator in 2011, barnstorming sites across the nation to gain valuable hands-on safety experience at blast furnaces, rotary furnaces, coke batteries, tin mills, roll shops and gas and oil installations. In 2017, he advanced to HSE Director as an internally-developed leader for a new generation of industrial professionals exemplifying “The Songer Way.”

Nate earned a B.S, Secondary Education History from California University of Pennsylvania in California, PA; and an M.S., Occupational Safety and Health with an Environmental Emphasis – from Columbia Southern University in Alabama. He has earned both his OSHA 10 Hour and 30 Hour Certificate, and is a member of the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE).
