J.O. Stright

Executive Vice President

J.O. attended Rutgers University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1970. After graduating, his management career began at US Steel, where he served in several different management capacities.

In 1976, J.O. joined Mechanical Maintenance Parts Corporation which he eventually purchased in 1981. Soon following the acquisition, J.O. founded Industrial Machine Works and in 1982, Penn Chrome Incorporated. Both companies currently operate in supporting roles providing equipment to the steel making industry and various downstream products produced by Iron and Steel making facilities.

J.O.’s vast experience in the primary end of Iron and Steel production brings great value to the Songer executive management team. His involvement in tributary and supporting businesses in and around the steel industry provides him with a wide path of vision to clearly align Songer to service its clients in an ever changing industry.
